In the 2016-17 campaign, it wasn't until the 34th round against Valencia that he ended his scoring drought. Fast forward to the 2024-25 season, and he had to wait until the 10th round, facing off against Espanyol, to score. However, during his tenure in the top-tier league in other seasons, he found the back of the net much sooner: in the 2017-18 season, he netted his first goal in the very first round, during an away match against Celta Vigo.
During the 2022-23 campaign, the player marked his presence with a goal in the third round's home match against Bilbao Athletic in a local derby. In the subsequent 2023-24 season, he once again found the back of the net in the sixth round's home encounter versus Hetafe. Further expanding his goal tally, he scored in the fourth round of the 2025-26 season, during the home game against Real Madrid.
